Product Description

PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION
An agitator/stirrer is a device or mechanism that mixes and evenly distributes reactants in a chemical reactor/mixer to promote the reaction of reactants or physical mixing, it is an important component of the reactor/mixer. The principle is to mix reactants through an agitator/stirrer in order to increase the contact area between reactants and reduce the mass transfer resistance between reactants, thereby improving the reaction rate and efficiency, reducing the volume and reaction time of the reactor, and thereby reducing energy consumption. At the same time, the agitator/stirrer can also ensure a uniform distribution of temperature and pH during the reaction process, thereby improving the quality and stability of the reaction. The existence of agitators is to improve the mass and heat transfer efficiency of reactions within a controllable range, to improve reaction efficiency and quality, and save time and products costs.
In general, an agitator usually consists of one or several layer impellers (blades set) and a main shaft. Main shaft is a power transfer part, impeller is a rotating part assembled on the main shaft for helps enhance the flow of a fluid. Agitators can come in many materials, sizes and varieties, depending on the application. In principle, it should be selected in combination with the agitation purpose, flow state, media viscosity, stirring speed, vessel volume, even reaction kinetics and transfer requirements. The impeller/blades can be divided into two types: fixed and detachable.
Disc turbine type agitator is a kind of high-speed small diameter type agitator same as open turbine type, the difference lies in the formation of two circulating flows-upper and lower with the blade as the boundary. There can be some gas stored under the disk to make the gas dispersion smoother, so it is suitable applicte in the gas dispersion and absorption process. Disc turbine type agitator is also applicated in homogenization, suspension, heat transfer, crystallization, mixing of low viscosity fluid with densities less than 2000kg/m³; but not suitable for materials that easy to layer, such as suspension containing heavier particles; Flat-blade and bended-blade not suitable for big-particles crystallization. The characteristics of flat-blade and bended-blade type have large turbulent diffusion and shear forces can be application with wide range of operating speeds and material viscosity; Pitched-blade type has a certain shear effect, better convective circulation ability, and larger circulating flow rate; The power consumption of bended-baldes type and patched-blade type are less than flat-blade type; The blades are made into concave or arrow shapes to improve the flow conditions.

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF AGITATOR
The technical parameters of the agitator are very important for the selection and work of the agitator. When selecting an agitator, it is necessary to comprehensively consider parameters such as power, speed, volume, material, dimension, and control method to ensure that the agitator can meet the production requirements of the mixed materials. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to the safety and reliability of the agitator to ensure the smooth progress of the production process. By selecting the technical parameters of the agitator reasonably, it can be improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the stability of product quality.
The power parameters of the agitator refers to the electrical or mechanical power required to drive the agitator to rotate. The power of the agitator is related to factors such as the properties, viscosity, volume of the stirred material, and the structure, speed of the agitator. Generally, the higher power of the agitator effects its stirring better. Therefore, when selecting an agitator, it is necessary to determine the required power parameters based on actual needs.
The speed parameters of the agitator is closely related to the characteristics of the stirred material. For materials with high viscosity, a lower rotational speed is generally required to achieve uniform mixing; For materials with lower viscosity, higher rotational speeds can be used. Therefore, when selecting an agitator, it is necessary to determine the appropriate rotational speed parameters based on the characteristics of the stirred material.
The volume parameter of the agitator refers to the maximum volume of stirred materials that the agitator can accommodate. The volume parameters of the mixer should be determined based on actual needs to ensure that it can meet the production requirements of the stirred materials. The volume parameters of the agitator should be determined based on the limitations of the production site and the volume requirements of the stirred materials. If the volume of the agitator is too small, it will not be able to accommodate enough stirred materials, thereby affecting production efficiency; If the volume parameter is too large, it will increase the cost and floor area of the equipment.
The material parameters of the agitator refer to the material used for making the agitator. The material parameters of the agitator should be determined based on the characteristics of the stirred materials and the requirements of the production environment. Generally, the material of the agitator should have good strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
The dimension parameters of the agitator should be determined based on the limitations of the production site and the volume requirements of the stirred materials. If the dimension of the agitator is too large, it will increase the cost and floor area of the equipment; If the dimension is too small, it cannot meet the production requirements of the stirred materials.
The control parameters of the agitator refer to the control method of the agitator driving device. Common control methods for agitator include manual control, automatic control, and remote control. Different control methods are suitable for different production environments and operational requirements. When selecting an agitator, it is necessary to determine appropriate control parameters based on actual needs.
